Greg Hale
Our Captain has decided to call it a day following the double wrist dislocation he suffered during our game on Saturday. He has endured a number of injuries throughout his illustrious career and with a little one on the way in June he has decided now is the right time to hang up his boots.
Greg played through the ranks at Blackbrook from the Royals into Open Age. He Captained his County and toured overseas with the BARLA Great Britain side.
Brook’s Captain has been and inspirational both on and off the pitch and will be greatly missed in this role.
One of his greatest achievements came at the back end of last season when he dragged us by the scruff of the neck and lead us to promotion when all look lost against Thornhill and Askam. Hopefully he can be just as inspiring and influential off the pitch in the not too distant future.
Congratulations Greg on an outstanding Amateur Career we wouldn’t be where we are now without you.
