Brook fought hard to overcome their Wigan rivals to make it three wins of out three in their NWML Division One campaign.
The home side got away to the best possible start when slick handling produced an opening for Aaron Hewitt to score wide out Hewitt also added the extras to give side a 6-0 lead in the opening minute.
The visitors though had most of the possession and Brooks young forwards Jack Wilson and Reece Jackson led the way keeping the visitors scoreless. The pressure finally told mid-way through the half and following two repeat sets Cory Cunliffe scored an unconverted for Hindley.
Aaron Hewitt launched a wicked kick from the re-start which found touch near the Hindley line and from the attacking scrum Lewis Gartland went blind side to score.
Brook were straight back on the attack with Cammy Tunstall and Jack Wilson driving the ball upfield. Scrum Half Mike Wynn made the break he found Lewis Gartland in support who passed to Jordan McManus who wriggled away from his tackler to score and increase the lead to 14-4.
With 5 minutes to half time Hindley reduced the arrears following a kick through on the last tackle Brooks defence hesitated in clearing the danger and Scott Tyldesley pounced to score the conversation missed and it was 14-8 to Brook at half time.
In the opening minutes of the 2nd period Scott Tyldesley scored again following a Brook error again the conversion crucially missed leaving us with a 2-point ball game.
Brook had to dig deep another youngster Lee Dyas was joined by the experienced duo of Daniel Smith and Chris Springford in keeping Hindley out.
Lewis Gartland produced a massive kick from well inside his own half which forced the Hindley man to put his foot in touch as tried to retrieve possession for his side. Brook had another attacking scrum and this time swept the ball along the try line were Jordan Darwin had chimed in from Full Back to go over in the corner. Aaron Hewitt added a superb touch line conversion.
Brook made the game safe when with 10 minutes remaining Skipper Craig Lyon ran a superb line and side stepped past the opposing to score a fine individual try Hewitt added an easy conversion to stretch the score out to 26-12.
With time almost up Andrew Wright added a deserved consolation try for the visitors with Joseph Heaton adding a touch line conversion.
Brooks young Half Back pairing picked up the Man of the Match award with Lewis Gartland taking The Heatrek accolade with Mike Wynn picking up The Tisdalls Players Man of the Match.
