Brook made up some ground towards the top of The NWML Division one with a win over Swinton outfit Folly Lane in what was at times a feisty encounter at Boardmans lane.
A much changed Brook got off to a flying start with long range tries from Jordan Darwin and Bobby Williams in the opening 5 minutes with Darwin adding a conversion.
Folly responded following a repeat set Prop Arron Hall crashed over with Tom Warburton converting.
Two tries in a matter of minutes mid-way through the half saw Brook stretch their advantage firstly Cameron Tunstall plunged over for his 6th try of the Season and then Scott Davidson broke free of the Folly defence to race away and score on his return Jordan Darwin added one conversion to stretch Brooks lead to 20-6.
The home went further ahead on the half hour mark a towering kick was well taken by the Folly Winger however a great chase from Brook forced him over the touch line close to his own try line and from the resulting attacking scrum Lewis Gartland went on the blind side to score with Darwin adding a touch line conversion.
A melee on the high time whistle saw Aaron Hall collect a Yellow Card for his initial high tackle and Brooks Lee Dyas a Red one for his part of the fray.
It was 12 Men Brook who increased their lead 10 minutes into the 2nd half when Jordan Darwin pounced on loose ball to touch down Darwin also added the extra two points.
Folly made the extra Man advantage work for them with tries from Liam Watson and Sam Watson. Tom Warburton added one goal to reduce the arrears to 32-16.
Brook hit back however to put the game to bed quick hands across the line found Jordan Darwin who put Bobby Williams in for his second and minutes later it was Darwin himself who broke away from a scrum on half way to complete his hat-trick and also added his 5th goal of the Afternoon.
To their credit Folly never gave up and added two late tries from Hall his second and Dave Findlay with Tom Warbuton converting Hall’s try.
Jordan McManus was selected as The Heatrek Man of the Match with Jordan Darwin collecting The Tisdalls Players accolade.
