Despite having 5 substitutes Brook had 7 players on the sideline nursing their wounds at one point during a feisty encounter at Heyham Atoms. Jordan Darwin opened the scoring however The Atoms built up a 20-4 lead before Brook rallied to go down 20-16. Bobby Williams and Mike Wynn scored tries with Aaron Hewitt and Mike Wynn adding the conversions.
