Back to back wins saw Brook move clear of the relegation zone in Division Two of The NCL.
Brook got off to a flying start with two converted tries in the opening ten minutes firstly Danny Fairhurst was on hand to accept a great offload from Scott Davidson and Jordy Welsby picked up a loose ball ten metres from his own line to race away and score under the posts. Aaron Hewitt added the extras.
Mid way through the half Stanley reduced the arrears to only two points with a brace of tries.
On the half hour mark the game was halted for 45 minutes as Stanley’s Richard Cattley suffered a dislocated ankle.
Brook went into overdrive after play restarted they had two tries disallowed before Danny Fairhurst scored and then on the stroke of half time Jordy Welsby jinked over for his second try. Aaron Hewitt both conversions to give his side a 24-10 interval lead.
Minutes after the resumption Greg Hale powered his way in the corner for an unconverted try and fine minutes later Danny Fairhurst completed his hat trick taking a neat inside pass from Ryan Houghton. Aaron Hewitt converted.
Stanley came back with a two tries of their own before Joe Bate crossed with Hewitt converting to kill off any hopes of a comeback from the home side.
Rangers did score their fifth try of the Afternoon however Scott Lyon completed the scoring as he crossed following a break from a scrum by Jordy Welsby.
Another Eighty Minute stint from workhorse prop Joe Bate saw him pick the man of the Match award with Danny Fairhurst taking the players vote.
