Alan’s funeral will be held on Tuesday 12 October 2021 at 1:00pm at St Helens Crematorium followed by a drink at the Police Club on Bishop Road.
Alan was a member of the Royals Committee through the 1980s and no matter what job that needed doing he would volunteer for it. These jobs and roles included Treasurer, Secretary for Royals coaches committee and the liaison between the Royals and main committee. When the Royals, Open Age and the Club committee built closer ties Alan joined the club committee as the Royals rep.
Sadly he had been suffering from ill health lately and passed 22 September and will be greatly missed by all, a big thank you for your long serving and loyal membership of the committee.
