Brook snatched a very late victory in a game that had almost everything, Three Hat-Tricks, a thrilling comeback and a dramatic very late winner.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 2nd minute when following a break from Ben Legge it was Mike Wynn who went over from close range for an unconverted try.
Latchford went in front 5 minutes later when Matty Rudd scored following a kick on the last tackle Rudd also added the goal.
Brook almost regained the lead instantly following another Ben Legge break however the chance went astray.
On 15 minutes Brook did regain their lead Ant Walker sent Lewis Gartland away he found Mike Wynn in support who crossed over wide out for his 2nd unconverted try.
It was all Brook now mid-way through the half a scoot from dummy by Ian Honey and a reverse pass sent Mike Wynn away for his Hat-Trick inside 20 minutes Wynn also added the conversion.
On 25 minutes Lewis Gartland sent a towering cross field kick to the right where
Jordan Darwin leapt the highest to scoring a brilliantly taken try in the corner with Mike Wynn again adding the conversion.
On the half hour mark Ben Legge made his third clean break of the half this time he found Ian Honey in support who finished in style to give Brook a 24-6 lead.
Latchford reduced the arrears right on half time when Matty Rudd found a gap to score an unconverted try in the corner.
The home side came out with the tails up following the late try and within minutes Rudd had completed his Hat-Trick as he dummied his way over in the corner.
Latchford had the momentum now and minutes later where in again when Daniel Brown scored following a kick on the last tackle bringing his side to only 6 points behind.
Brook stretched their lead to 12 points in the 65th minute when following a kick from Lewis Gartland it was youngster Paddy Maher who collected the kick and kept a cool head to find a pass for Jordan Darwin who scored and also added the conversion.
The lead didn’t last long with Latchford scoring two converted tries in as many minutes
Daniel Brown went over for his second followed by Jake Ashton and with Rudd’s conversions it was 30 points all with 10 minutes on the clock.
Brooks defence lead by Jack Wilson and Craig Lyon worked overtime to keep Latchford out as they strived for the winner.
With only minutes remaining Matty Rudd dropped a goal to give his side the slenderest of leads.
The game was deep into injury time when Brook forced an attacking scrum following a fumble near the Latchford try line. Brook went left and then quickly switched play to the right and quick hands across the line found Jordan Darwin who crossed for his Hat-Trick and the winner he also added the conversion and the whistle blew for full time.
Lewis Gartland was selected as the Heatrek Man of the Match with Jack Wilson taking the Tisdalls Players Man on the Match award.
