Please find on the attachment a new initiative been offed by St Helens Referees Society for Clubs who often request Referees for Junior games from age groups Under 8’s to under 11’s.
in the past the Towns Referees have always gone out of there way to supply referees for these junior games when requested, going forward Due to the shortages of young referees
coming into the system they are not going to be able to fulfill these requests from Clubs.
However the St Helens Society have put together a mini training course for clubs volunteers. Mum’s Dads Granddads Anyone who wants to help
Attached is the details of the Mini Referees courses being offed No Other Referees Society are offering this kind of course and is amounts to Clubs helping them selves .
There is a tight deadline for a response from clubs on this it is as follows
This is a Free Of Charge Course No Pass No Fail No Pressure (See Attached Leaflet For Details)
1, Acknowledgements from clubs on if they have any volunteers wishing to go on the course by the 11th March-20
2, A meeting with a brief power point presentation will be arranged at Saints Stadium for all interested volunteers 18th March-20
3, Course to take place on Saturday 28th March-20 ( Venue to Be Confirmed)
This is not about recruiting Referees its about clubs helping Them Selves long Term
