IT is with great pleasure that we can announce the dates for the Under 13s Saints Community Development Foundation training sessions.
Steve Leonard, Saints Rugby League development manager, said: “These are all inclusive sessions. We are looking for players of other sports like Football, Rugby Union etc. to come along and enjoy a few evenings with the Development / Performance coaches, alongside our seasoned rugby league players.
“Players from throughout the North West and beyond will be converging on Cowley and it promises to be a great spectacle. The long term goal is to give each player the opportunity to be challenged and have some fun regardless of ability or experience.
“If we could persuade a few players to come into our game and playing in our Community Clubs on the back of the sessions all well and good.
It also gives the more experienced players the opportunity to show off their potential within the confines of the Academy training facility and the chance to work with some of the coaches who coach within the Academy set up.”
The U13s sessions start next Monday May 9 5.45 pm on the Cowley Fields off Hard Lane, WA10 6PN.
They finish at 7pm prompt.
All players who register will receive a training top free of charge.
There will be six fortnightly sessions:

Monday May 23
Monday June 13
Monday June 27
Monday July 11
Monday July 25
Sessions for the U11 and U12 age groups will be announced shortly. Watch this space.
